Web development ยท Houston, TX

Websites and web apps, hand-coded and built to last.

We build sites for Houston-area businesses and remote clients the same way we build our own products: by hand, quick to load, easy to change a year from now, and entirely yours. No page builders, no plugin sprawl, no monthly platform fee for something that should just be a website.

What we build

Product and marketing sites

A landing page that explains what you do and gets the call, the signup, or the download. We handle the parts people forget: the store badges, the promo video, pricing and FAQs, a contact form that actually reaches you, and the metadata that makes your link look right when someone shares it in a text or on social media.

Content sites and guides

Long-form pages, lists, and small interactive tools, structured so they read well on a phone and stay easy to add to. Good for businesses that answer the same questions over and over and want those answers to live somewhere findable.

Web apps

Browser-based applications with sign-in, real-time features, and payments when you need them. We build on boring-in-a-good-way infrastructure that scales without surprise bills, and we have shipped a real-time multiplayer game on it, so a booking tool or a customer portal is well within reach.

Care and hosting

After launch, we can keep running the site: fast static hosting, redirects so old links never break, analytics wired up, and the small ongoing changes handled by the same people who built it. Or we hand you the keys and you never hear from us again. Your choice.

How a project goes

  1. A short call

Thirty minutes, in person if you are in the Houston area or on video if not. We talk about what the site is for, who it is for, and what you have already. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you somewhere better.

  2. A fixed quote

A written scope with a fixed price and a timeline. No hourly meter, no surprise line items. Changes to scope get a new number before any work happens.

  3. Build in the open

You get a live preview link from the first week and see the site take shape. Feedback goes in as we go, not at a big reveal at the end.

  4. Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, HTTPS, analytics, the sitemap, and search engine verification, then flip it on. If you are replacing an old site, every old URL redirects to the right new page.

  5. Afterward

A care plan if you want one. Otherwise, the code, the accounts, and a short written guide to changing things are all yours.

What you get on every site

  • Hand-written HTML and CSS that loads fast on a phone with a weak signal
  • Works on every screen size and with a keyboard or screen reader
  • Titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, and social previews done properly from day one
  • Privacy-respecting analytics so you can see what people actually do
  • Redirects from any old URLs so existing links and bookmarks keep working
  • Everything in your name: domain, hosting, code

Who this is for

Small businesses and practices around Houston who have outgrown a page-builder site or never had a real one. App makers who need a product site that sells the download. Coaches, leagues, and clubs who want a page that parents can actually use on game day. Anyone anywhere who wants a fast, honest website from people who will still answer the email next year.

Questions people ask

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what the site has to do. A focused marketing site with a handful of pages is a very different job from a web app with sign-in and payments. After a short call we send a fixed quote for a defined scope, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. If your budget is tight, tell us. We would rather build a smaller site well than a bigger one badly.

How long does it take?

Small marketing sites usually take a few weeks from kickoff to launch. Content sites and web apps take longer, and the quote includes a timeline for your specific project. The biggest variable is usually how quickly we get the words, photos, and decisions from your side.

Do you use WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix?

No. We hand-code every site in plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a modern framework only when the project is a real application. That means no plugin updates, no theme lock-in, and pages that load fast on a phone. If you are on a page builder now, we can rebuild it and set up redirects so your old links keep working.

Do I own the site?

Yes. The domain, the hosting account, and the code are all in your name. If you ever want to take it to another developer, you can hand them the folder and walk away with nothing owed.

Do you meet in person?

For Houston-area projects, yes, we are happy to come to you. Most of our work happens remotely over email and video calls, and that works fine for clients anywhere.

Can you update a site you did not build?

Often, yes. If it is a hand-coded or static site we can usually take it over directly. If it is on a page builder, it is often cheaper to rebuild it than to fight the platform, and we will tell you which one honestly.

Need a site built?

Tell us what it's for and who it's for. We'll reply with an honest read on scope, timeline, and whether we're the right fit.
